An example of economical architecture, this building features an interesting solution in arranging the staircases, which was employed in Lithuania for the first time. Two separate stairways are positioned one above the other, so that in the plan they appear to be in the same space. On one hand, the building could be criticized, because the land was purchased at auction with permission for a 7-storey building, and later, by changing the master plan, a 15-storey building was built, which now dominates the view of Ukmergės street and the background of the green hills of Šeškinė. On the other hand, it is often considered a good example of modern architecture. Its clean form seems to be effective - even ordinary citizens have coined a number of nicknames for the building.
