We proposed the extension of the former Lietuva Hotel as a separate 2-volume (3 and 7 storey) building along Konstitucijos avenue, forming a pedestrian promenade between the old and the new buildings. When examining the site, we noticed that the nearby empty plot which belonged to the municipality would be perfect for an multi-purpose concert hall, and specially for acoustic concerts, which is sorely missing in Vilnius, so we prepared a feasibility study on our own. The building would feature a larger hall (with room for an orchestra pit, a choir and an organ) with 1,700 seats, and a smaller 335-seat hall; and between them, on the axis of the White Bridge, facing the bank, would be a lobby with a cafe and an exhibition space. A cultural building in this location would be easy to reach and visible, but without intrusive forms of expression. It would enrich the surroundings, and thus complete the urban composition of the right bank of the River Neris.
