The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) campus is to appear in the valley between Kalnų parkas hills, Olandų and T. Kosciuškos streets. The goal for the LMTA campus was to create a landscape-sensitive concept, as well as cozy atmosphere for the users. Therefore, the main block is designed along the street to block the street noise and protect the inner spaces: the square and the inner alley for the community members. The height of volumes designed is decreasing towards the slopes of Kalnų parkas. The concert hall building is designed as a landmark and connecting element to the whole LMTA, M. K. Čiurlionio and B. Dvariono music schools territory. This building is dominating by functional and visual importance. The main entrances to the concert hall, administrative and teaching blocks are designed from the inner representative square, where an amphitheater for outdoor performances and cinema is designed. Southwest orientation provides the square with good illumination. The pedestrian alley embodies the visual axis connecting the old chapel and the St. Peter and Paul's Church. Competition, 3rd prize.
